Viewing and Creating Notifications

Notification List

The Notification List page displays the general information of all the account's notifications:

  • Date
  • Name
  • Status (Active / Inactive)
  • Category
  • Message Preview

Notifications Empty State

When no existing notifications are created, it will show a screen inviting you to create the first notification.

Click the Let's Go! button to be redirected to the Create Notification Form.


The New Notification screen allows you to enter the notification's content under the Content tab.

  • Enter the notification name under the *Name** field.
  • Select a Category from the drop-down menu.

Choosing the correct type is essential because WhatsApp uses this value to approve or reject a message; the type must match the message's intention.


The available category types are:

  • Select the notifications' language. The default language for messages is Spanish.

If you don't erase the first language (Spanish) and just add a different language (i.e., English) the notification will be sent to each user in both languages.

  • Select the message type from the following optios:

Text Only

Only plain text, they do not include any type of multimedia file in their content.

The message should not be longer than 1024 characters since exceeding it is an automatic rejection by Facebook. Applies to all types of templates.

Static Image

You can include a URL in the body of the message in addition to the text and parameters, but the image that users will receive will always be the same.

Enabled it by checking Use a URL and placing the URL of the image.

Dynamic Image

You can include a URL in the body of the message in addition to the text and parameters, as well as the image that users will receive can be chosen for each campaign (this is attached in the base file for each campaign).

Enabled it by check Use a URL and marking the second check.

Upload an image

You can include images in the body of the message, and the text and parameters, the image that users will receive will always be the same.

To upload the image, click on the button Upload file.

Consider naming the image without the use of special characters:

PDF Document (static URL)

You can include a PDF in the body of the message and the text and parameters.

Enable it by checking Use a URL and place the URL of the document; the file is always the same for all campaigns.

PDF Document (dynamic URL)

You can include a PDF in the body of the message in addition to the text and parameters.

Enable it in the check: Use a URL in this type the file will be able to change for the campaigns, when checking: Use the image.link and image.caption params.

The URL must be placed in the user base for each campaign to be sent.

PDF Document (upload PDF)

This type of template can include a PDF in the body of the message and the text and parameters.

Only the PDF is loaded from the computer and remains in the template available for users to receive in all campaigns.

Title

This type of template has a fixed title that protrudes from the body of the message.

It can include parameters.

  • Enter the new message under the Message field. Variables must be written between double brackets. For example: {{order_id}}

To add the format to your message:

  • For bold insert an asterisk (*) at each end of the text you want to highlight
  • for italics insert an underscore (_) at each end of the text

Click Submit for review.
